Overview
In the academic year 2024/2025, I taught the course
Psychology of Social Communications as an assistant professor at
Pegaso University, within the Master's degree program in Modern Linguistics.
The course examined core theories and concepts from social psychology, with a specific focus on
communication processes. Alongside foundational topics such asĀ group processes, social influence, and attitudes, particular attention was given to communication models, including
verbal and nonverbal communication,
persuasive messaging, and
dysfunctional interaction patterns. Students were also introduced to theoretical perspectives such as the semiotic, pragmatic, and strategic approaches to communication, as well as the role of
mediated communication and new media.
